It’s often difficult to find the perspective and language to fully articulate
and make sense of our experiences. Having structured coaching support
allows for a greater sense of clarity and for a more loving and grounded
sense of self and community in growth. I'm here to help support
and empower you to live with intention, cultivate joy
and access leveled-up versions of yourself.
We can work towards that by approaching our struggles with curiosity
and compassion, and by empowering ourselves to live in authenticity.
When we nurture our healing in these ways, we break free from what's holding
us back and breakthrough to the life that's waiting for us on the
other side of all the baggage that weighs us down.
Coaching helps provide compassionate support as you work towards
making sense of your experiences in a way that allows you to
identify limiting beliefs, unhealthy familial blueprints, and relationship,
parenting, re-parenting and communication challenges - along with other
areas of emotional ruts that aren't serving you by releasing, processing
and grieving. Coaching can help to empower you to break through
those barriers and interrupt the cycles of inter-generational trauma.
Together we’ll work on helping you further develop tools and resources
for your “emotional and mental toolbox” to help navigate setting and maintaining
healthy boundaries, shifting perspectives, and intentionally cultivating mindsets
that work towards what best serves the healthiest version of you. Part of those
tools include developing a deeper understanding of yourself, and being able to communicate
your feelings, needs and wants in more productive ways. Our work together will include
expanding and further developing both internal and external resources for your
“tool box” so that you can cultivate a true felt sense of safety,
self-worth and belonging in your own mind and body and can feel
enough emotional freedom to thrive rather than simply survive.

What is the difference between therapy and trauma recovery coaching?
Therapists are the trauma surgeons, emergency room personnel and paramedics of the mental health and well being community. Coaches have a fully stocked first aid kit and skills to put it to good use, but they are not physicians.
A coach comes alongside their client to brainstorm, provide information and resources, help examine potential decisions and reframe things in a healthier way. A therapist can do all of these things, but they often also need to intervene at a deeper level to direct care that allows deeper healing work to be done through skilled therapeutic modalities that a coach cannot offer.
